School managed transport

The school currently charters two buses from Morebus to transport students to and from school on specific routes, plus our own school minibuses are used for smaller groups of students. 

• Students must be registered on the bus service and have a bus pass to use these services.
• We are not in a position to guarantee a travel place.

• Route 940: Hamworthy – Lake Road - Turlin Moor – Upton
• Route 941: Bournemouth Road - Ashley Cross –  Park Gates –  Shah of Persia – Cemetery Junction – Oakdale Esso garage – Fleetsbridge –  Creekmoor
• Minibus 1: Corfe Mullen (Dorset Soldier) – Lytchett Matravers (War Memorial)
• Minibus 2: Corfe Mullen (RBL) – Lytchett Matravers (Rose & Crown/Deans Drove)

The afternoon journey will be the reverse of the routes above.

The cost of this service is currently £5.50 return per day.

Travel is offered on a full time Mon – Fri return travel pattern.

Students who are currently recorded by the school as eligible for Targeted Free School Meals will receive a reduced rate of £3.00 per day.

The reduced rate applies specifically to the Targeted Free School Meals category and does not apply to students eligible under the Expanded Free School Meals criteria. Eligibility will be determined using the school’s student records.

Payments will continue to be made on a termly basis, and to support families, these can be spread over up to four instalments within each term. For the Autumn term in September we will only charge for the first 1/2 term, to start with.

Dorset Council transport

Current 25-26 academic year

There are four buses which serve the school from the West of the County for students who are entitled to free school transport provided by Dorset County Council. The buses are run by Damory/Excelsior/Morebus, on behalf of the Council.  For queries regarding these, contact the Council.
