Parent Teacher Association

The aim of the PTA is to support the education of our children at Lytchett Minster School. We do this by assisting the school with funds and resources not normally provided by local government. The PTA attempts to foster more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. All parents are automatically members of the PTA.

The PTA is a strong part of the school and provides much-needed support at various school events throughout the year, including providing refreshments at parents’ evenings.

The PTA has set up a second-hand school uniform shop. This opens once a month and parents are invited to buy good quality second-hand items at reasonable prices. If you have any surplus uniform that you wish to donate, please hand this in to main school reception, clearly labelled for the attention of the PTA. The shop’s opening dates are published on the monthly KIT newsletter.

Your support at events is always very much appreciated. An additional way to raise funds is through a voluntary donation scheme.

Lytchett Minster School has a very friendly and lively PTA team. If you would like to join us, please come along to one of our meetings (dates and times are published in the KIT newsletter). Any comments or enquiries may be emailed to the chair.

Between September 2016 and September 2017, the PTA raised an astonishing £40,000 through hard work and applying for grants. This money is to be used for the renovation of the sunken garden. Alongside this, the following donations were made to the following departments:
