Sports Centre

Lytchett Manor Sports Centre is a dual-use sports facility situated in the beautiful surroundings of Lytchett Minster School, Lytchett Minster, Poole.

The sports centre was established in 1988 and has, over the years, undergone extensive additions including a 3G floodlit astro pitch, outdoor cricket nets and, most recently, netball and tennis courts. The facilities also include a full size sports hall, gymnastics hall, fitness suite and a community function room.

We are keen to play our part in the community by providing access opportunities for the public to utilise the sports centre's facilities and offer various classes and activities including badminton, tennis, basketball, volleyball, netball, circuit training, kickboxing, gymnastics, trampolining and five-a-side football, amongst others.

The sports centre does not receive any financial support from the local authorities to provide sports and leisure opportunities for the local community and is therefore totally self-funding. Accordingly, any surplus income at the end of the financial year is used by the centre's management committee to improve the facilities for both the school's and the community's use. By applying these principles, we can ensure that the facilities for sports, health and fitness related activities are second to none in the area.
