This is an exciting opportunity to take a key role in supporting the Assistant Head (Pastoral) in the effective implementation of the school attendance policy and procedures as well as monitoring and reviewing absence of persistently absent students. The postholder will be responsible for visiting and providing support to families and students who have a track record of poor attendance with the aim of improving their overall rate of attendance.
The successful candidate must be able to drive and own their own car. They will be able to claim mileage in addition to the salary listed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record in handling and diffusing difficult situations in a calm and confident manner.
