  1. I went to see it last night.
It was amazing everyone played there parts really well but Cinderella and the bakers wife really stood out.
But it was all round great. Well down to everyone involved.

  2. absolutely fantastic.. brilliant.. everything about it.. well done to everyone involved from on stage to back stage.

  3. Just watched Into the Woods. What a wonderful performance by all of you. You should all be very proud of yourselves. The baker and his wife were incredible as were all the cast. So professional. I particularly thought the baker had such a kind way about him and he never came out of character, I think everyone warmed to him immediately as we were meant to. I didn’t really know this musical but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and I know my daughter’s have loved being in this show. Thank you to all the teachers that made this happen and thanks to Mr Mead for making sure the school values these opportunities for our children.

  4. We really enjoyed the production last night (Thursday). The cast was excellent, the orchestra handled a complex and demanding score brilliantly, and the backstage crew ensured we watched a tight, technically superb production. Well done to all involved.

  5. Have been to the show both nights and I am going again tonight!! What stands out is how much everyone involved in the show seems to be loving the experience. The cast, the orchestra, tech department and everyone involved backstage – it’s all amazing. I congratulate everyone involved on putting on such a wonderful production. Thank you Lytchett from a very proud parent.

  6. Absolutely brilliant, from beginning to end. Congratulations to everyone involved. What amazing talented, confident young people. Loved it!! Thank you for a wonderful entertaining evening (Thursday). Very proud grandparents here.

  7. Watched the show last night, was good to see some upcoming actors/actresses performances and enjoyed the comedic roles of the two princes. I was surprised to see that the school allowed the line to remain in the play about Red Riding Hood having a knife on her to protect her. Hardly the thing to encourage in a school play and this line could easily have been omitted.

  8. What an ambitious show to do! All credit to a school that has the confidence in their pupils to take this on. I’m sure there are many that wouldn’t. The risk was so very worth it. Brilliant performances all round from leads to ensemble. Great costumes, lighting, sound. A very enjoyable evening. Well done Lytchett Minster for a brave and well executed choice.

  9. Last night I had the pleasure of watching the show for the first time as an audience member and I was completely blown away with the standard of both the performers and backstage crew. Even when a technical fault happened everyone acted quickly and no performer broke character. I am incredibly proud of all of the cast and how far they have come. This show means a lot to me personally and never fails to amaze me. I wish you all the luck in the world for your closing night, I have to doubts you will be absolutely fantastic and I hope you get the standing ovation you deserve. All my love, rhi x

  10. Today I visited your beautiful school. What a brilliant performance of ‘Into the Woods’. This musical demands so much of the ensemble, singers and actors as well. it was fantastic to Be part of the audience. Mr Mead sure can Be proud to al his students and staff.

  11. Amazing show with so much talent. So much effort went into it and you could clearly see the enjoyment from the cast and audience. May I suggest for the future that the dancers are given more of a chance to shine. Performing arts is about Acting, singing and dancing. I did feel like the actors and singers were given the spot light but the dancers were in the background. At the school you have some amazingly talented dancers so please put them front of stage for future productions.
