Careers Fair Positively Received

Lytchett Minster School’s annual careers fair was a tremendous success once again, with over 20 different companies attending and over 600 students from Years 9, 10, 11 and Sixth Form, all of whom had opportunities to view exhibition stands and talk to various employers. It was great to receive such positive feedback from companies who hadn’t visited Lytchett Minster School before; they thought the students were very mature with the questions they asked and it was good to see so many with thoughts for their future career.

This popular event is extremely useful to the students, giving them insight into what companies are able to offer across varied business sectors. Below are just a few of the comments from various companies that attended this year:

  • Thank you for putting on such a great careers event, we had some fantastic conversations with your students and we look forward to joining you again next year.
  • Great atmosphere, students gave a really good response and seemed to be really interested in what we had to offer with our apprenticeship and work experience scheme.
  • Thank you very much for hosting us at your careers fair. It was good to see how interested young people are in engineering. I hope that the careers fair has helped encourage them to maybe consider an apprenticeship. Beagle would be happy to discuss any apprenticeships we offer or further encourage the benefits of an apprenticeship.

  • We had a great time at the careers fair, it was fantastic to see pupils from so many year groups interested in the different options open to them and what was on offer for the day, asking questions and showing an interest in what was available to them.
