Congratulations to all the students involved in the school concert held at the parish church in Lytchett Minster!
The highlight of the evening was the performance by the senior choir (with full orchestral accompaniment) of Vivaldi’s Gloria, with solos by Taegan White, Rose Painter and Trinity Evans. The senior band performed Wagner’s rousing Grand March from his opera, Tannhäuser. There were also solo performances by the school’s top instrumentalists including Ethan Bodman (clarinet) and Millie Hancock (flute). Harriet Rhind played violin in a beautiful piece of music she composed herself for piano, cello and violin. Both the choir and band were conducted by Head of Music, Andrew Painter.
We would like to thank the parish church for allowing us to use their beautiful building for this concert.
